Reaching Across the Grid - Reiki

I run into so many people in my everyday life in the corporeal world that are convinced Second Life isn't real. They of course don't have avatars, relationships, hopes and dreams within our virtual environment. They simply see SL as a fun diversion. And for some people, I guess that is all it is. But once you become immersed in the culture, the dividing lines shift and merge and what is "real" come into question.

So -- health care on the grid? Why would an avatar NEED health care? We don't get sick. We don't even have to eat or drink (not to mention sleeping and other bodily functions). How could we possibly need health care in ANY form?

Well some avatars do. Relationship woes, stress in groups and business --- there are plenty of things in our virtual world that can get us out of sorts -- out of balance.

And where do you send your avatar in need? (insert a smile here). Well one place is Silk Bamboo Health ( Haetae 96/25/104 ) in the virtual 21st Street Portland Oregon sim of Haetae. There you can get distance reiki to (or through) your avatar. Not only is your avatar in better shape -- if needed, your RL persona (you see, I'm trying hard to decide WHO is more real here :D) as WELL as your avatar can gain some relaxation, some balance and some improved health.

I, as Wonder, have no major problems in SL. Actually I don't get out enough to HAVE problems :D. The person behind me however can use a bit of tinkering with. And, that person behind me can attest to the validity of this process. And "I" am not the only one who is a believer.

You can of course try this for yourself; that is the only way to actually test the premise. As Silk explains it:
I really do distance reiki with intent to reach the person. However if their issues are in SL it should help that as well. Seems to anyway.
She is a member of Reiki Empowerment in SL and a very caring person. Who can say what you might discover about yourself, Second Life -- and "reality".
