Electric wrote me about news that goes along with my Greening of SL article. Etopia Island (mentioned in that article) has expanded and Etopia Prime is now open. Part of the aim of Etopia Prime's new business area is to bring RL company info into SL. Many of the shops and kiosks include posters with URL loaders, so you can go directly to a web page to learn about eco-friendly products.
There are shops in the underground also which houses another monorail that will take you close (some walking required at this point) to the original Etopia. There are shops still for rent if you happen to be a company selling green goods. I am not sure if SL green goods qualify :D, but perhaps.
Electric also found windmills at both Shiny Things and Isambard Kingdom -- Isambard Kingdom 253/134/61 (single TP setting so you will need to navigate by beam).
So, it seems GREEN is coming to SL - yeah!
