The big news on the street this eve is that Second Style magazine issue #15 comes complete with free skins. You can pick it up (free) at numerous vendors throughout Second Life including one at the magazine headquarters. My photo above features the darkest of the skins called cinnamon. The skins are very high quality and may be just what you are looking for. The assortment includes the complete skin line of LF CHAI Vedette. Each skin tone comes with and without freckles;12 skins in all.On a side note, I was very happy to see the variety of shades -- and even colors -- in the skin advertisements in this month's issue. It is always good to have choices; it is gratifying that the content creators are providing them.
I am already back in my "old" skin as I am quite attached to it and don't expect to be changing any time soon. But, if you have an itch for a new look, this may be your opportunity. Check it out!
Important if you are NEW: be sure to take notice of the skin you are currently wearing before you try on another. You can do this by opening your inventory and typing in the word "worn" in the all items tab. Your skin will show up in bold text amidst clothes and hair and such. Make a note of where it is and what it is called. Alternatively you can make an outfit in the appearance tab called something like "basic sally" and then find that when you want to change back.
